Description

The 2018 Arctic Futures Symposium will take place on Wednesday, 28 November at the Residence Palace in the EU Quarter of Brussels. It will begin at 9:00 am and finish at approximately 6:30 pm.

The symposium will provide Arctic stakeholders the chance to hold a public discourse with the EU and Brussels communities about topics and challenges they believe are important to discuss in a public setting. It will focus on the following themes: Arctic Institutions; Transport and Logistics; Culture, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Blue Growth and Biodiversity.

Entry is free to all who register.

In addition to the discussions that will take place at the symposium on 28 November, symposium participants as well members of the general public are invited to attend an "Arctic Shorts" film evening Brussels' premiere cultural venue, BOZAR, on the evening of Tuesday, 27 November, starting from 7:30 pm.
