Through its Planetary health Award Ceremony, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation honours every year leading individuals and organizations for their deep commitment to preserving our planet. The Foundation rewards inspiring personalities for their work in favour of water, climate, and biodiversity, and also for the paths they have chosen.
15th edition of the Planetary health Award Ceremony took place at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, on Friday, November 25th, 2022 in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, where the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation unveiled its three laureates:
Dr. Agnes Kalibata, former Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources of Rwanda and President of AGRA Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa, where she has been leading efforts to ensure Africa’s food security and prosperity through inclusive and sustainable agricultural growth to secure the livelihoods of millions of smallholders since 2014.
Prof. Dame Jane Francis, a geologist by training, is Director of the British Antarctic Survey, a research centre of the Natural Environment Research Council (UKRI-NERC) which is also a member of the European Polar Board. Prof. Francis is involved in international polar organisations, such as the Antarctic Treaty and the European Polar Council, and serves on several advisory boards of national polar programmes.
ECOncrete® Tech (Israel) represented by its CEO and Co-founder, Dr. Ido Sella. ECOncrete Tech is an interdisciplinary scientific company made up of biologists, ecologists, environmental engineers, designers, concrete technology specialists among others.
