Arctic Biodiversity "Through The Lens" Photography Competition

In celebration of the Arctic Biodiversity Congress, the CAFF International Secretariat, in cooperation with sponsors, launch the Arctic Biodiversity Through the Lens photography competition. 

The eyes of the world are turning northwards. Arctic landscapes, wildlife, cultures and light have inspired people since time immemorial. The Arctic Biodiversity "Through the Lens" photography competition will celebrate the beauty of the Arctic as experienced by photographers of all skill levels.

How to enter

The competition is open to all photography enthusiasts from across the world, provided that the image is taken within CAFF border (see right).  

The competition welcomes entries across four categories, click the selected category to be able to submit images;

The top 3 images of each category will receive a prize. One grand prize winner will be chosen from submissions by all participants over the age of 18. There will be prizes for 3 "youth" winners from all submissions of individualls under the age of 18 (Birth year of photographer defines eligibility, not birthday,born 2000 and later.) All participants will receive a 3 month trial subscription from the community for passionate photographers.

Each photographer may submit up to seven images per category. 

Winning and selected images will be displayed in an exhibit at the Arctic Biodiversity Congress, October 9-11 2018, in Rovaniemi, Finland, and will be exhibited across Arctic countries.
