EPB at ATCM XLV / CEP XXV Meeting

The Parties to the Antarctic Treaty meet every year at the Antarctic Treaty Consultative meeting (ATCM) to exchange information, to consult together on matters of common interest pertaining to Antarctica, and to formulate, consider, and recommend measures to their Governments.

The Committee for Environmental Protection (CEP) also meets annually to discuss the status of the Antarctic environment in general and the implementation of the Environment Protocol specifically.

Joint XLV Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM XLV) and XXV Meeting of the Committee for Environmental Protection (CEP XXV) takes place from 28 May to 8 June at the Scandic Marina Congress Center in Helsinki this year. Many of the EPB members are actively participating in discussions of the ongoing meeting.
