It is with great sadness that the European Polar Board has learned of the passing of EPB Alternate representative, Dr. Andrés Barbosa.

Dr. Barbosa worked as a scientist at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Department of Evolutionary Ecology (MNCN). He was an esteemed and valued colleague at the EPB, where he actively participated in many of our activities.

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Andrés  Barbosa.
