Almost one year has passed since the beginning of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021 – 2030). As the Southern Ocean community progresses through the Ocean Decade, this is a significant time to reflect on the achievements of the Southern Ocean Task Force towards achieving the UN Ocean Decade vision in the Southern Ocean.
Following the successful Southern Ocean Decade & Polar Data Forum Week 2021 (20-24 September 2021), we are pleased to announce that the Southern Ocean Task Force will be hosting a webinar to provide you with the latest updates on the Southern Ocean process. Since the September Workshop, the Task Force has been busy working on identifying the cross-cutting constraints affecting the management of the Southern Ocean.
In the spirit of Antarctica Day, we hope you can join us online on the 1st of December at 4pm CET (3pm UTC)
